Strawberry Shortcake

Impressive desserts do not have to be baked. It's easy to find a great pound cake already baked for you. This one is organic and uses no preservatives. Take the time to make your own whipped cream. Ingredients
  Strawberries 2 Cup (32 tbs), sliced
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Heavy cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Pound cake 4 Ounce, sliced
Directions

1. In a bowl, toss the strawberries, lemon juice and 1/4 teaspoon of sugar and set aside.
2. For the whipped cream: In the blender, blend 1 teaspoon sugar and heavy cream till it has thickened.
3. On a plate, place a slice of pound cake, add the strawberries on top and finish of with 2 tablespoons of whipped cream.

SERVING
4. Serve as an easy and yummy dessert.
