Sauerkraut Cake

Ingredients
  Butter 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Eggs 3
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Flour 2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)
  Cocoa 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sauerkraut 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Directions

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla together.
Sift dry ingredients together; add to creamed mixture al- ternately with 1 cup water.
Rinse sauerkraut; drain well.
Chop sauerkraut finely; add to batter.
Spoon into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
