Easy Pound Cake
|Sugar||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Flour||4 Cup (64 tbs), sifted|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Almond flavoring||1 Teaspoon|
Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt to- gether; add to butter mixture alternately with milk.
Stir in flavorings; pour batter into 2 small greased and floured tube pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until cakes test done.
Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans.
