Hi Carolyn, I grew up in the south with grandma's pound cake and I can tell by the ingredients that this recipe is going to be a winner..ONLY, I would like to make a lemon pound cake instead. The viewer who submitted the recipe said not to add any liquid. I want to give it a nice NATURAL lemon flavor, so do you think adding lemon juice or lemon extract would disrupt the outcome of the cake?
