Whole Meal Apple Cake
|Self raising wholemeal flour||4 Ounce|
|Barbados sugar||3 Ounce|
|Eating apples||1 Pound (Crisp)|
1. Wash, peel and core apples and cut in fine slices.
2. Preheat the oven to 375°F, 190°C,
3. In a large bowl sieve the flour and salt.In another bowl, mix the sugar and butter to form a light and fluffy creamy paste. Then gradually add in the eggs while beating constantly
Add flour and apples to butter mixture and pour this into a greased 7-in. cake tin.
Bake in a hot oven for 45 minutes until golden brown.
4. Cool on rack and serve warm or pack in a polythene back for storage
