Wedding Cake Frosting
|Butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs) (2 Sticks)|
|Vegetable shortening||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|10x confectioners sugar||3 Pound (3 Packages Of 1 Pound Each)|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Apricot brandy||3 Tablespoon|
|Light corn syrup||3 Tablespoon|
1) In a large bowl, beat the butter or margarine and shortening until soft.
2) While still beating add in 10X sugar and salt, and beat until mixture is crumbly and all of the sugar has been added.
3) Stream in milk, brandy, corn syrup and vanilla in the sugar mixture.
4) Continue beating until mixture is smooth and spreadable.
5) Use as required.
