Orange Marmalade Torte
|Confectioner' s sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Orange juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Bread crumbs||2 Tablespoon|
|Grated orange rind||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground filberts||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Orange marmalade||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chocolate chips||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Whipped cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cream confectioners' sugar and egg yolks; stir in orange juice, bread crumbs and orange rind.
Beat egg whites until stiff; fold egg whites and ground filberts into egg yolk mixture.
Turn batter into greased and floured springform pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes or until torte tests done.
Cool torte; split into 2 layers.
Spread 1 layer with marmalade; top with remaining layer.
Melt chocolate chips and but- ter together in top of double boiler.
Frost torte with chocolate mixture; garnish with whole filberts and whipped creamed.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
