Sandwich Cake Using White Shortening

Ingredients
  Flour 4 Ounce
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  White shortening 3 Ounce
  Castor sugar 4 Ounce
  Eggs 2
  Baking powder 2 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit.

MAKING
1 In a bowl, sieve the dry ingredients.
2 Add in the eggs, water and fat, all together.
3 Using a wooden spoon, beat for one minute
4 Divide between two 7-inch sandwich tins and cook for about 25-30 mins, just like a Victoria Sandwich.

SERVING
5 Serve hot.
