Country Apple Cake With Caramel Sauce

Ingredients
For cake
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Eggs 2
  Muffin & bread mix 15 1⁄2 Ounce (Pillsbury Nut quick, 1 package)
  Apple pie filling 3 Cup (48 tbs) (from two 21-oz. cans)
  Cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Whipping cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla ice cream/Whipped cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (if desired)
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 350┬░Fahrenheit.
2 Spray 13x9-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.

MAKING
3 In a large bowl, mix oil and eggs, beating well.
4 Add in quick bread mix, apple pie filling, cinnamon and nutmeg.
5 Using a spoon, stir 50 to 75 strokes until mix is moistened.
6 Stir in nuts from foil packet and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
7 In the sprayed pan, put the mixture and spread evenly.
8 Bake for 43 to 50 minutes or until cake is deep golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

FINALIZING
9 Allow to cool for 30 minutes.
10 Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, add sugar, brown sugar, butter and whipping cream; mix well.
11 Stirring occasionally, bring to a boil,
12 Remove from heat and blend in vanilla.

SERVING
13 Cut warm cake into squares and place on individual dessert plates.
14 Top each serving with warm sauce and ice cream.
