Butter Almond Coffee Cake
|Sifted all-purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||3 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Melted butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Almond flavoring||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated orange rind||2 Tablespoon|
1 Grease an 8-inch pan with butter.
2 Set the oven to 375° fahrenheit.
3 In a bowl, sift the first 4 ingredients together.
4 In another bowl, beat the eggs well.
5 Stir milk, butter and flavoring, into the eggs.
6 Create a well in the center of dry ingredients and pour in the liquids.
7 Mix lightly.
8 Into the prepared pan, transfer the mixture.
9 Generously sprinkle with topping.
10 Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
11 Tastes best buttered and served hot with coffee.
