Iced Banana Cake
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking soda||2 Tablespoon|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Orange juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Apple sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Apply shortening to 2 cake pans.
In a large mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, vanilla extract, eggs, bananas, orange juice, and apple sauce.
Mix them well.
Pour cake mixture into the pans.
Place the pans in the oven and bake for 35 minutes.
Remove the cakes, and cool on a rack for half an hour.
Apply cake icing and decorate the cakes.
