Cinnamon Pound Cake
|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Flour||2 3⁄4 Cup (44 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Unsweetened cocoa powder||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dairy sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
Grease a 10-inch tube pan; set aside.
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
In a large mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa and cinnamon.
Add alternately to egg mixture with sour cream, beating after each addition.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Turn out on wire rack.
