Ingredients
  Taro 2 Cup (32 tbs), cooked
  Cooked mashed taro 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Milk 1 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Parsley 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Chopped green onion 1 Tablespoon
  Green onion 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Celery 1 Tablespoon, finely chopped
  Finely chopped celery 1 Tablespoon
  Bacon slices 2 , cooked until crisp, crumbled

  All-purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. In a bowl, place the hot mashed taro and stir in milk, butter, egg yolk, salt, pepper, parsley, green onion, celery and bacon.
2. Using the mixture, form patties of 1/4-inch thickness and dredge in flour.

MAKING
3. In a skillet, heat shortening and fry the patties until lightly browned on both sides.

SERVING
4. Serve hot with ketchup or any of your favorite sauce.
