Strawberry Shortcake Pudding Squares

Little strawberry Shortcake squares with a delicious vanilla wafer crust, topped with sweet strawberries.
Ingredients
  Nilla wafers 64 , divided
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), divided
  Margarine/Butter 5 Tablespoon, melted
  Cold milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling 20 Gram
  Thawed cool whip whipped topping 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Sliced strawberries 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Directions

Crush 40 of the wafers and mix with 3 tbsp. of the sugar and all of the margarine until well blended. Press firmly onto the bottom of a 13x9-inch baking pan. Pour milk into a large bowl, add the dry pudding mixes and beat with a wire whisk until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the crust. Then top with the remaining 24 wafers. Cover with the remaining pudding mixture. Refrigerate 3 hours. Toss strawberries in 1 tbsp. of sugar and top the shortcake squares with them.
