Grilled Strawberry Maple Shortcake
|Low fat pound cake||1 Pound, cut into 8 slices|
|Maple syrup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Strawberries||2 Cup (32 tbs), cleaned and sliced|
|Non fat whipped cream topping||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Non fat cooking spray||1 Tablespoon|
1 Lightly coat the grill with cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes.
2 Place the poundcake slices in the grill, and apply some maple syrup on them using a brush.
3 Grill for 3-5 minutes until the cake is toasted.
4 On individual plates, arrange the slices.
5 Scatter some strawberries on top and cover with whipped topping.
