Blender Orange Cake
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Dried raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs), washed|
|Whole seeded orange||1 , juiced (Rind, Pulp)|
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|White sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Sift the flour, soda and salt together and add the raisins.
Place the prepared orange, shortening, sugar, eggs and sour cream in the blender or processor to make a puree.
Add to dry ingredients, lightly and quickly.
Pour into a well greased tube pan and bake at 325°F for 45 minutes.
