|Caster sugar||8 Ounce (225 Gram)|
|Soft margarine||8 Ounce (225 Gram)|
|Eggs||4 Small (Size 3)|
|Coffee essence||2 Tablespoon|
1 Preheat the oven at 350 degrees farenheit/180 degrees celsius.
2 Prepare two 8" (20 cm) greased sandwich tins.
3 In a bowl, cream the margarine and sugar.
4 Add beaten eggs with a little flour and beat well.
5 Stir in coffee essence.
6 Fold in sieved flour.
7 Divide the mixture between two sandwich tins.
8 Bake for 25-30 minutes.
9 Cool in tins for a few minutes before turning out onto a wire rack.
10 To make icing - beat the egg and soft butter.
11 Add the sieved icing sugar and cream.
12 Add coffee essence and vnilla essence. Beat well.
13 Use icing as filling and covering for cake.
14 Slice and serve.
