Bourbon Pound Cake

Ingredients
  Butter 1 Pound
  Sugar 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Eggs 8 Small, separated
  Flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Bourbon 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Vanilla 2 Tablespoon
  Almond extract 2 Tablespoon
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

MAKING
1. In a bowl, cream butter along with two cups of sugar
2. Add egg yolks to it one at a time and beat well each time
3. Combine bourbon, vanilla and almond extract; add alternately with flour to the creamed mixture
4. Beat egg whites with a cup of sugar until stiff, not dry; fold one mixture into another and blend well
5. Butter a tube pan and sprinkle half a cup of chopped nuts at the bottom and carefully tip in the batter; bake for an hour and a half at 350°F

SERVING
6. Slice into thin pieces and serve
