Red Velvet Cake

Ingredients
  Sugar 7 1⁄2 Cup (120 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Cake flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Red food coloring 2 Ounce
  Cocoa 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Cream sugar, shortening and eggs; stir in flour and buttermilk.
Mix food coloring, cocoa, salt and va- nilla; stir into flour mixture.
Dissolve soda in vinegar; stir into chocolate mixture.
Place in 3 greased layer pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes; cool.
