  Shortening 250 Milliliter
  Granulated sugar 250 Milliliter
  Eggs 4
  Molasses 250 Milliliter
  Strong coffee/Rum 250 Milliliter
  All purpose flour 875 Milliliter
  Salt 5 Milliliter
  Nutmeg 5 Milliliter
  Baking soda 5 Milliliter
  Cinnamon 5 Milliliter
  Cloves 2 Milliliter
  Strawberry jam 250 Milliliter
  Cherries 225 Gram, glazed
  Mixed fruit 225 Gram
  Raisins 900 Gram
  Dates 900 Gram
  Currants 900 Gram
  Almond paste 450 Gram
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 275-300 degree.

MAKING
2) Cream shortening with sugar and stir in beaten eggs, coffee, and molasses.
3) Mix well, add spices to flour, and then stir in the mixture.
4) Stir in fruit and jam.
5) Take 2 pans, grease, and divide the mixture in two halves.
6) Bake for 3 hours.
7) Spread the almond paste over the cake.

SERVING
8) Use as required.
