Banana Cake

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Eggs 2
  All purpose flour 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Bananas 4
Directions

MAKING
1. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar till light and fluffy; add lemon rind and eggs to it and beat to blend
2. In another bowl, sift one and a quarter cup of flour, the cornstarch, salt, spices and baking powder into the creamed mixture and blend them all well
3. With half of this mixture line the bottom of a loose bottomed 9" cake pan that is well greased
4. Bake it for about twenty five minutes at 350° F and allow to cool later
5. Peel the bananas and dice them; sprinkle lemon juice on them adn add to the pan; spread them out well
6. In the rest of cake mixture with the remainder of the flour to make a dough
7. Roll this dough out in a circle, lay it over the filling and seal its edges
8. Bake in the preheated oven for thiry five minutes

SERVING
9. Allow to cool and serve
