Blackberry Cake

A simple and easy blackberry cake for your tea time. Make your tea time special with a cake that has your favorite berries. Blackberries are also known to have numerous health benefits.
Ingredients
  Eggs 3 Small
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Shortening 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1 Teaspoon
  Blackberries 2 Cup (32 tbs), undrained
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Flour 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, mix together the eggs, sugar, shortening, cinnamon, cloves
2) Using an electric beater cream the mixture
3) Add the blackberries, soda, flour, baking powder and beat well
4) Pour the batter into a 13 x 9 2 inch baking pan
5) Bake at 350F for 40 minutes

SERVING
6) Slice and serve with some whipped cream
