Quick Pineapple Upside Down Cake

  Dark brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Canned pineapple slices 1 Pound, drained (450 Gram)
  Cherries 6 , candied
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 2 Small
  Rising flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Put the brown sugar and 1/4 cup of the butter in a 10-inch (25-cm) oval dish about 2 inches (5 cm) deep.
Put the dish in the oven for a few minutes until the sugar and butter have melted.
Remove the dish from the oven.
