|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs) (or water)|
|Baking powder||4 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Butter||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
Sift flour twice with baking powder and salt.
Beat butter and sugar together, then add to flour.
Combine lemon juice with milk and water, add to other ingredients and beat until smooth.
Grease small cake tins and almost fill with mixture.
Bake at 350° F for 20 minutes.
This mixture can be used for larger cakes, dividing the mixture for two cakes.
