Cream of tartar
2 1⁄2 Teaspoon
OURMIX and pinch salt sifted together.
Rub in 4 oz.
castor sugar and 2 oz.
Mix with 1 cup milk, to which has been added 1 tspn, flavouring essence (any flavour you fancy).
Bake in two greased and floured tins (7-inch*) at 375° F for 25 - 30 minutes.
