Sour Cream Coffee Cake
|Sifted cake flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Almond flavor||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sour cream||1⁄2 Pint|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time.
Add sifted flour mixture, alternating with sour cream.
Add almond flavoring.
Place 1/2 of dough in greased 9-inch square or round pan.
Sprinkle with 1/2 of topping mixture.
Pour rest of dough into pan and top with remaining topping.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Serves 8 to 10.
