Easy Crumb Crust
|Fine chocolate wafer crumbs/Fine graham cracker, zwieback or gingersnap crumbs||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Melted butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Combine crumbs and sugar; mix in butter.
Press firmly on bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
For an unbaked crumb crust, chill 1 hour before filling.
For a baked crumb crust, bake at 375° for 8 minutes.
Cool thoroughly before filling.
For ease in serving, dip pie pan in warm water for a few seconds before cutting.
