These wonderfully delicious and shaped Viennese cakes are impressive for party snacks or desserts. Try this quick and simple recipe flavored with vanilla!
Ingredients
  Butter 8 Ounce
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Icing sugar 3 Ounce
  Sifted icing sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornflour 1 Ounce
  Flour 8 Ounce
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Jam 1 Teaspoon (Leveled)
Directions

Cream the butter, salt, essence and sugar together.
Sift the flour and add.
The mixture will be stiff.
Place in a pump with a star nozzle, and force mixture into paper patty cases, using a circular movement, but leaving a depression at the top in the centre.
Bake slowly at 275° F for 35 minutes.
When cold, dust the tops with icing sugar and fill the centres with a little jam.
