Banana Chocolate Cake
|Cake flour||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs), sifted|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Shortening||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Sugar||37257 Cup (596112 tbs)|
|Unsweetened chocolate||2 Ounce, melted|
|Bananas||1 Cup (16 tbs), mashed|
|Buttermilk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Sift together first 4 ingredients.
Cream shortening, sugar, and vanilla together until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a lime, beating well after each addition.
Blend in chocolate.
Add dry ingredients alternately with bananas and milk, beating until well-blcnded.
Turn into greased layer pans and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
Fill and frost cooled cakes with a butter frosting.
