Grandma's Chocolate Cake
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Unsweetened cocoa powder||3 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Buttermilk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In microproof measure, at least 2 cup (500 mL) combine butter, cocoa and water.
Cook on HIGH to boil, about 3 minutes, stirring once.
Stir all dry ingredients together in mixing bowl.
Stir in egg, buttermilk, vanilla and cooled cocoa mixture.
Pour into greased 8" x 8" (2 L) square or round microproof baking dish.
Cook at 70% power for 7 1/2 minutes and HIGH for 1-2 minutes or until centre tests done.
