Ginger Mince Upside Down Cake
|Dry mincemeat||8 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Boiling water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Canned sliced apples||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Gingerbread mix package||14 Ounce (1 Package)|
Break mincemeat into saucepan.
Add boiling water, and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Melt the butter in a baking pan (8x8x2 inches).
Sprinkle brown sugar on butter.
Arrange apple slices in pan, and pour mincemeat over apples.
Prepare gingerbread mix as directed on the package.
Pour over the mincemeat.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for about 35 minutes.
When done, turn upside down on serving plate.
Makes 8 servings.
