Two Minute White Cake
|Shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
In mixing bowl put shortening, sugar, egg whites, vanilla, milk, and sifted dry ingredients.
Beat vigorously for 2 minutes by hand or at medium speed of electric mixer.
Pour into two 8-inch layer pans lined on the bottom with greased wax paper.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (375°F.) for 20 minutes.
Cool for 5 minutes.
Turn out on rack and peel off paper.
Cool, and frost as desired.
