Angel Cake Delight

Ingredients
  Canned crushed pineapple 20 Ounce (1 Can)
  Angel food cake 1 Large
  Dream whip 8 Cup (128 tbs) (May Substitute Cool Whip)
  Unflavored gelatin 1 Ounce (2 Envelopes Knox)
  Lemon juice 3 Tablespoon
  Granulated white sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Coconut 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Pour four tablespoons cold water over gelatin.
Stir and add 1 cup boiling water.
Add pineapple, lemon juice, and sugar.
Let stand until chilled.
Prepare Dream Whip, or use Cool Whip.
Mix with gelatin mixture.
Add coconut.
Pinch cake in fine pieces.
Prepare cake, alternating with a layer of cake crumbs and a layer of Dream Whip mixture ending with Dream Whip mixture.
Chill.
This cake keeps very well when prepared and stored in a lid-covered cake tray.
