Down Home Streusel Coffee Cake
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Almond extract/Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Streusel||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
Place butter in large mixing bowl.
If necessary, MICROWAVE 20 SECONDS on '5' to soften.
Cream sugar with butter until fluffy.
Beat in eggs and almond extract.
Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
Pour all coffee cake mixture in pan.
MICROWAVE 6 MINUTES on '8'.
Then sprinkle on streusel topping and MICROWAVE 4 to 5 MINUTES on '8' or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
