Fresh Corn Cakes

Ingredients
  Fresh cream style corn 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Melted butter 1 Tablespoon
  Cream 1 Tablespoon
  Eggs 2 , separated
Directions

Combine all ingredients except eggs.
Beat egg whites until stiff and set aside.
Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon-colored.
Stir yolks into first mixture, then fold in whites.
For each cake drop 2 tablespoon-fuls onto hot lightly greased griddle, and brown on both sides.
