Microwave Chocolate Cake

This eggless microwave chocolate cake recipe is one that I absolutely love. This is one that comes to my mind when I want to cook fast and really delicious. Have made it atleast a 100 times and it is just perfect each time- a never fail recipe. All it takes is 10 minutes to have a delicious cake right in front of you.
Ingredients
  Maida 1 2⁄3 Cup (26.67 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cooking oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cold milk 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Curd 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cocoa/Use 3 tbsp of cocoa and 3 tbsp of drinking chocolate or else feel the cake turns out slightly bitter and does not agree with the sweet taste requirements of kids 6 Tablespoon
  Sodium bicarbonate 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Sieve maida and soda bi-carb together. Mix all the ingredients and make a smooth batter. Pour into a greased microwave proof utensil and cook for 7 minutes. After done, let stand in the oven for 5 minutes. Take out and let cool for 2 minutes. Cut and enjoy.

It is a delicious dessert if served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, topped with chocolate sauce and chopped nuts of your choice. Enjoy!!!

I think you can try baking soda or baking powder instead of that.

Does it require to pre - heat the Microwave oven? If it requires, then what is the time to pre heat the oven?

I think, you may try omitting the cocoa and add a tsp or so of pure vanilla essence/extract; if it is a plain vanilla cake you are looking for.

I have never baked any cake in a microwave.So i am confused whether to preheat the oven and how.when we put the batter for making a cake in the oven how much temp is required to be set for how many minutes for a eggless chocolate cake?

i tried this and it did come out well, its really soft too but i dont get the taste of the cake which we but outside!! its like a sweet.. what do i do??

If its sweet for your taste please reduce the sugar quantity to 2/3 cups or increase cocoa powder qty by 2 tbsp
