Walnut Coffee Cake
|Refrigerated crescent dinner rolls||2|
|Butter/Margarine||2 Tablespoon, softened|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Unroll dough; separate into triangles. Spread each triangle with part of the butter or margarine.
2. Combine brown sugar, cinnamon and walnuts in a small bowl. Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon of the mixture over each dough triangle. Roll up as label directs.
3. Place rolls, point sides down, in a greased 9x5x3-inch pan, in two layers. Brush top of loaf with remaining butter or margarine; sprinkle with remaining topping.
4. Bake in moderate oven (375°) 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Turn cake out onto wire rack; cool completely before serving.
