Cheesy Patty Cakes
|Finely chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Instant mashed potatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Packaged Variety, Enough For 4 Servings)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Shredded sharp american cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Instant minced onion||1 Teaspoon|
|Dried parsley flakes||1 Teaspoon|
|Finely chopped cooked turkey||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Fine dry bread crumbs||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Cheese sauce||4 Tablespoon|
In medium skillet cook celery in margarine till tender.
Stir in water.
Bring to boiling; stir in instant mashed potatoes, egg, cheese, onion, parsley, and pepper.
Mix in turkey.
Shape into 12 patties; coat with crumbs.
Cook on hot greased griddle over medium heat about 2 minutes on each side.
Serve patties with Cheese Sauce.
