Vanilla Sauce For Cake
|Butter/Margarine||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Flour/Cornstarch||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Melt the butter or margarine in a saucepan; stir in the flour or cornstarch and blend well.
2. Stir in the boiling water, salt and sugar, mixing constantly. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
3. Remove from heat and add the vanilla.
