Apple Spice Cake

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), softened
  Granulated sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 3 Large
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
  Savory seasonings bake blend 1 Teaspoon
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking apples 2 Large, peeled and cored (1 1/2 Cup)
  Chopped walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Creamy lemon frosting 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Preheat oven to 375°.
Combine butter and sugars in large mixing bowl; beat until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time; add vanilla.
Beat in flour, baking powder and bake blend alternately with milk until smooth.
Beat 1 minute.
Stir in apples and walnuts.
Pour into two lightly greased and floured 9 inch cake pans.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Let cakes cool 5 to 10 minutes on cooling rack until set.
Turn out onto cooling rack; cool completely.
Frost with creamy lemon frosting.
