Whole Wheat Banana Cake
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Whole wheat flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Oil||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Sodium bicarbonate||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Peels||2 Tablespoon (Use Green Colored Ones)|
Peel and mash bananas with a fork till well blended.
Sieve flours, baking powder and soda bicarb together.
Beat eggs, sugar and oil till creamy in a large mixing bowl.
Mix coloured peels with mashed bananas and mix with flour.
Add flour to egg mixture and beat for 10-12 minutes till light in texture.
Grease a cake tin and pour the batter into it.
Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 40-45 minutes.
Insert a knife in the centre of the cake.
If comes out clean, cake is ready or bake for another 5-10 minutes.
Cool for 5-7 minutes and remove from the tin and cool.
