Ripe Breadfruit Cake With Ginger

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Breadfruit 1 Cup (16 tbs), mashed (ripe)
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Beat butter and sugar till creamy, add vanilla and beat in eggs, one at a time.
Sift flour and baking powder.
Mix baking soda with milk.
Mix the breadfruit with the butter, sugar, egg, and baking soda.
Stir well and put mixture in a well greased tin.
Bake for about 45 minutes at 160°C (325°F) or till cooked.

We are trying to make this cake --the breadfruit is ready--but we are stymied because the recipe in this ginger cake has omitted ginger. Can anyone tell us the amount of ginger and other spices to put in?

Sorry for this please add 1/4th tsp of ginger juice or a few pinches of dried ginger powder in the cake batter.
