Peanut Butter Peach Cake
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Peanut butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned sliced peaches||1 Pound, drained and reserve 1/4 cup syrup (1 Can)|
|Yellow cake mix||8 Ounce (1 Package For 1 Layer)|
In a saucepan, combine butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and reserved peach syrup.
Cook over medium heat till ingredients are melted and blended.
Pour into an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
Place peaches in rows over mixture.
Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
Carefully pour over top of peaches.
Bake in a moderate oven (350°) about 50 minutes or till cake is done.
Cool cake 5 minutes.
Invert on cake plate.
Serve plain or with whipped cream.
