Fresh Cassava Or Taro Cakes

Ingredients
  Grated cassava/Taro 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Fresh)
  Grated onion 1 Tablespoon
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Oil 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Mix onion, salt and pepper with cassava or taro.
Form into cakes about 1 cm (1/2 in) thick on a floured board.
Fry in hot oil till golden brown on both sides.
Drain well on paper and serve with meat and vegetables.
