Basic Butter Cake
|Sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), softened|
|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Set Power Select at MEDIUM.
Cream together sugar and butter; add egg, milk and vanilla.
Add remaining ingredients, stirring until smooth.
Pour batter into greased 8 or 9-inch round baking dish.
Heat 7 to 8 1/2 minutes; let STAND, covered, 10 minutes.
Store, covered, until cool.
