|Cake flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), sifted|
|Soda||1 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Cocoa||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Buttermilk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
1. Start oven, set at Moderate, 350° F., and prepare 2 8-inch cake tins.
2. Sift together flour, soda, salt and cocoa. Add oil, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat until it forms a smooth batter.
3. In a separate bowl beat eggs until thick and foamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until very well blended. Fold this egg and sugar mixture thoroughly into the batter.
4. Pour into two waxed paper-lined layer-cake tins. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
