Plain Good Chocolate Cake
|Flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Vanilla||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Double strength coffee||1 Cup (16 tbs), cooled|
Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease an 8-inch square pan.
In a large bowl, blend together flour, cocoa, salt, baking soda and sugar.
Add vanilla, oil and coffee and mix until smooth.
Quickly add vinegar and mix briefly.
Mixture will be foamy.
Immediately pour into pan and bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pan.
