Chocolate Sundae Cake
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cocoa||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Hot water||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
1. Mix flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, the baking powder and salt in 2-quart casserole. Stir in walnuts, milk, oil and vanilla.
2. Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa. Pour hot water over batter. Microwave uncovered on medium (50%) 9 minutes; rotate casserole 1/2 turn.
3. Microwave uncovered on high 5 to 7 minutes or until top is almost dry. Serve warm. Spoon into dessert dishes and top with ice cream if desired. Spoon sauce over ice cream.
