Lazy Day Yellow Cake
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), cut into small pieces|
|Vanilla extract||2 Teaspoon|
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Crease and flour an 8"x 8"x 2" baking pan. Put the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, butter, egg, and vanilla into a mixing bowl. With an electric mixer at medium speed, beat the ingredients together for 3 minutes, or until well blended.
2. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake, uncovered, for 35 minutes. Cool in the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then remove the cake from the pan to the rack and let cool completely. If you wish, frost the cake with Cream Gheese Frosting, or Butter Cream Frosting.
