Crumb Cake Or Buns
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened (1 stick)|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted|
|Brown sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), firmly packed|
|Nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon, ground|
|Cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon, ground|
1. Press dough in greased, 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Carefully brush top with part of the softened butter or margarine. Let rise 1 hour, or until double in bulk.
2. Combine remaining butter or margarine, flour, brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle over dough.
3. Bake in moderate oven (375°) for 35 minutes, or golden-brown. Remove from oven; cool 5 minutes; loosen cake in pan. Carefully remove to wire rack; cool completely. Sprinkle with 10X (confectioners' powdered) sugar, if you wish.
